Description S-LINK™ S-Link™ is a CAN bus-based control system used for communication between Sleipner products installed on a vessel. SMART POWER CONTROL SLEIPNER Side-Power’s patented Smart Power Control provides minimal delay between thrust directions, reducing wear on mechanical parts while monitoring the operation of the solenoid valves. In the event of a valve “lock-up,” the thruster automatically stops without any additional user action or main switch control. OVERHEAT PROTECTION When high temperatures are detected, On/Off thrusters automatically shut down to prevent overheating. PRO™ thrusters with speed control provide longer operating times by reducing power to maintain a safe temperature. GALVANIC SEPARATION Parts submerged and exposed to seawater are galvanically isolated from the vessel’s electrical system, eliminating unwanted current flows.
